A project created by Cut Once to raise awareness of the war and genocide in Darfur has been selected for inclusion in AIGA's Fifty exhibition. AIGA, the professional association for design, is committed to advancing design as a professional craft, strategic advantage and vital cultural force.

ABOUT DARFUR
The militia in Darfur use starvation, mass murder, displacement, and rape as weapons of war to maintain control. This disturbing fact is what influenced the concept for our poster.

ABOUT AIGA FIFTY
AIGA Fifty is a biennial juried exhibition that showcases 50 of the strongest examples of design produced in the Mid-Atlantic region during the past two years. Judged by a panel of experts in communication arts and design, over 500 pieces were evaluated in the areas of print, narrative, and interactive media.
