ADVANCE Program Launch

The mission of the Alliance for Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Treatment Innovation (ADVANCE) is to apply predictive computational modeling, data-driven approaches, and innovations in cardiac imaging to patient care, and specifically, to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

ADVANCE will utilize innovations in clinical imaging, a novel disease-specific personalized computational modeling (Virtual Heart platform), and statistical and machine learning on clinical data to predict the functional behavior of the patient’s heart under a variety of conditions, and to suggest therapeutic approaches for heart rhythm disorders that are optimal for the given patient. This will engender accurate and precise clinical decision-making regarding personalized treatment and optimized cardiac patient care. Natalia Trayanova, Co-Director of ADVANCE, partnered with Cut Once to develop a visual concept that would make the formation of the new alliance understood by the world.
