2014 marked the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Baltimore and birth of the United States National Anthem. To honor this milestone, Baltimore organized the Star-Spangled Spectacular, a bicentennial celebration commemorating the Battle of Baltimore and the birth of the Star-Spangled Banner. 

In response to this celebration, the University of Baltimore (UB) organized an exhibition to showcase the most effective poster design produced to commemorate this historical event. The exhibition took place from September 15, 2014 through October 31st, 2014.
